Spectator Sport: Airport

Spectator Sport: Airport

Finally, I have arrived to the exorbitance airport, putting my heavy luggage on the luggage cart and pushing it through the clear door. I was amazed to see a large crowd of various color hair. It was quite strange because I usually don’t see this much people in the airport. I had an apprehensive feeling, that I wasnt going to board the plane on time. I quickly find my check-in line and waited in a long zigzag line, in quite a long time I finally reach the counter. Not to wasted time I put my luggage on to the weighting conveyer as usual. I look up to see the airhostess, she welcome me with a nice word and a smile. After the process was done, I watched my luggage go down the conveyer line that seems for ever until it reached to a large silvery machine with a rubber strap hanging down from the entrance, my bang went inside and that was the last time I saw my luggage before I get to my destination.

Walking to the inner side of this large structure is the registration and scanner; again I saw a long line waiting to go inside, now I learned that they just change the scanner and there was limited scanner that could be use. While I was daydreaming, looking around, I saw many grandiose and historical statues everywhere I look, and listening to others colloquail talk, I smelled something that smelled good and fresh. The family in front was ravenously consuming a dozen of sandwich that they wish to eat inside but was prohibit. That made me realizes that I also need to check my bag for any food and drink. Luckily I found nothing in my bag so I went to the registration. It was quite fast after all.

Here I am in front of this docile large metallic bottle-like structure, I heard people asking what is this including me, later I learned that it is a new kind of scanner. When I reach the front of the line I was forced to but my bag of to the scanner and other thing that contains metal. And there it was the bottle like scanner, and I stepped inside. Then I felt like spinning but it wasn’t me it’s the bottle, after some few rounds of turning I was finally out of the monstrous thing. Without realizing I was left with 20 minutes before departure. So I ran off to my plane for departure.

  1. Hello Tawin!! I can really see your writings have improved since I last read it ! This time the transitions are much smoother and I can imagine as you walk through the place, the crowded people start to congregate together! A little is that try to add a climax or culminating point that can twist the story, a suspension that would attract more reader. Other than that it's simple, neat, and clean. Keep up the good work !

  2. Hi Tawin! To be honest, I really like how you describe a certain details in your post. It was interesting and imaginative to read. But I think that it would be better if you add a little more descriptive vocab words. By using them, the reader will imagine more about what you are trying to say. But aside from that, you did very well. Nice work!

  3. Frankly speaking, I can notice your progression just by reading this single passage. The amount of work you put into completing this assignment is just obvious evidence that you strive to achieve the best. Your transitions are becoming fluent, your sentence structure exceptional, and your grammatical syntax is just flawless. Keep up the hard work!
